Math Place Grade 3 Read Aloud Collection

These collections of math books set a whole-class focus for learning by encouraging discussion of big ideas, provoking math talks, and providing realistic contexts for the math that students can connect with. Each of these collections comes with a Teacher's Guide specific to the books in each collection. The Teacher Guides will help create an immersive read aloud experience in the classroom and each Guide includes over 100 pages of comprehensive math and cross-curricular lesson plans.

Lesson Plans include:
• Before, During, and After reading prompts
• The focus of the first reading is to enjoy the story and understand key ideas using comprehension strategies, while the second reading focuses on the math so students can discover and explore the math concepts embedded in the story
