Sixth grade isn't as great as Rex thought it would be. He's the only kid who hasn't had a growth spurt, and the bullies at school never miss an opportunity to remind him of it. He can't really count on his closest friend, and then there's this pretty girl in his class who might actually like him back. With everything going on, everything is a blur—including Rex's vision! So when he finds out he needs glasses and his family can only buy him the ugliest pair in the store, all of Rex's hopes for fitting in go out the window.
