    • Slide Shows for each learning platform and book build background to increase comprehension.
    • The Big 5 questions engage the whole class in debate, encouraging students to take a stand on the core issues of the books.

    • The Teacher's Guide and Reader's Handbook include step-by-step lessons for essay writing in narrative, argumentative, and explanatory formats.
    • Essay-writing rubrics and checklists help teachers and students evaluate different writing forms.
    • Writing tasks accompany each Stretch Text.
