Fast Track is designed for students who need books with: - reading levels in their range (F�R)
- a variety of text types and genres
- age-appropriate concepts, design, and size
- relevant content related to real life and to themes and topics being taught in the classroom
- a natural progression in difficulty and challenge
- audio support to model fluency, phrasing, and expression
Fast Track can be used for guided, small-group, or independent instruction. The range of text types can be used as models for students' own writing. Text types include narrative, report, recount, explanation, exposition, description, and discussion. Fiction Books - provide a variety of styles and genres that appeal to older readers
